In this episode James and Regie talk about Nintendo's continuing problem with under producing their products to meet demand. It seems to be an ongoing thing now that Nintendo doesn't make enough consoles to meet the demand of their fans. We saw it with the NES Classic, the Nintendo Switch and now with the SNES Classic. Why is Nintendo doing this? Why are they cheating themselves out of tons of money and letting down long time fans who can't make it to the stores before the scalpers buy 10 consoles a piece only to resell them online for double the cost? Does Nintendo really think a sale is a sale? Does Nintendo really not see that their fans aren't the ones actually buying the systems? By deliberately limiting their production, to create a false sense of collectability, they are also creating a hostile environment where they are alienating their fanbase.

In this episode Regie and James talk about the NeoGAF incident in which Ima Leupp steps forward with her allegations of sexual harassment against Tyler "Evilore" Malka, Owner and creator of the popular gaming forum NeoGAF. Thanks to the recent #MeToo movement, Ima felt safe and empowered enough to come forward and talk about her negative experience with Tyler.

This all is brought to light thanks to brave women stepping forward to talk the way Harvey Weinstein sexual harassed them.

Regie and I take this topic very seriously and will openly talk about the injustice and ignorance a lot of women face when talking about sexual harassment.

On a side note, upon listening to this podcast while editing it I, James, realized that my thoughts on Harvey Weinstein were very jumbled and not well thought out. Forgive me, I was a little off this night. To be more clear, my confusion about how to feel about Harvey was more based on the shock of hearing that he had done such a horrible thing time and time again for many years. It's the same sort of shock you get when you hear about any household name doing something moraly wrong. I couldn't believe that someone with his statue would risk everything to do something like that, it just baffles me. What he did was inexcusible for anyone and I couldn't be happier he has been called out.

In this episode James and Regie talk briefly about how getting older has changed the way think about, look at and play games. How has age changed the type of games we all play? How about the genres? We found that after talking about it almost everything about the way we approach gaming has changed from when we were children.
